Художник Мария Аристова

Maria Aristova is a successful young artist actively participating in the circulation of numerous cultural and art amalgamations taking place in our contemporary world and incarnating in constantly alternating contests, exhibitions and projects.

The major specialty of Maria’s art is desire to experiment. In her works stroke expressiveness, colour balance, bold surface treatment and special texture are combined with graphic precision, laconism and elaboration of composition. Figurativity and volume exist next to ornamentality and stylization. Such fabulous combination of totally different, at first sight, artistic devices, form the individual artistic style built on academic school skills.

Each canvas by Maria Aristova is a specific microcosm surprisingly interweaving totally different motives and art traditions of different periods. Each of her works is filled with special poetry undoubtedly dominated by the feminine.
